Description
The Neurodiverse Campus: Libraries Leading the Way
- Ryan Palm, Executive Director of the Brad McGarry Center for Neurodiversity at Mercyhurst University in Erie, PA. Ryan will be setting the stage for the workshop, providing some background information on neurodiversity among college students, the services and programs offered at Mercyhurst to serve these students, and ways that centers like his can partner with academic libraries to serve this growing population of students.
- Brett Spencer, Reference and Instruction Librarian at Penn State Berks Thun Library in Reading, PA. Brett will be speaking about the spaces and programs that his library has in place for neurodiverse students.
- Amanda Boyer, Student Success Librarian at the Blough-Weis Library at Susquehanna University in Selinsgrove, PA. Amanda will be speaking about services and programs that her library has in place for neurodiverse students.
